PHILOSOPHY:
It is never too late to begin exercising for better health.
BACKGROUND - Richard Greifinger:
Exercise and fitness has been a passion of mine for the majority of my life. Before high school and into college I competed in track and field as well as cross-country. After college, I competed in middledistance road races. I am fortunate to have trained under some of the best coaches in the country as a member of the Santa Monica Track Club.
My career path out of college took me into sales for many years. In 2006, I merged my love for working with people and my love for fitness by becoming a personal trainer. I completed a 500-hour practical and classroom course at the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI), became certified, and passed the National Strength and Conditioning Association exam (NSCA), which is one of the most respected of the National Certifications.
Personal training is very rewarding and helping
people attain their fitness goals is awesome.
I like
to make the workouts fun and innovative as well as
challenging.
My primary specialty is in-home training for older
adults. Fitness levels are from the beginner to the
active retired. I am also comfortable training in a
private studio setting.
