WHY USE A PERSONAL TRAINER
Many people work out on their own, and seem to be just spinning their wheels seeing limited; if any, results. You may feel your program is a good one – challenging, incorporates weight training and cardio training, good eating habits, etc. But still, you just don’t seem to get anywhere with it. This is where personal trainers come in. There are many good reasons to use a trainer, and here are the major ones:
- Accountability: When working with a trainer, you have someone to “answer to” and to make
sure you are keeping your program on track. Motivation: Let’s face it – very few of us are
self-motivated to push ourselves beyond comfortable limits. - Program design: Is the program you are
doing really the right one for the goals you have?
There are very specific ways of training your muscles and increasing work loads to get the
results you want. - Proper technique: Good form on each
exercise is not only important for injury prevention,
but also to assure you get the most out of each rep and each exercise you do. - Nutrition: Most personal trainers who are
nationally certified, like ourselves, have sports
nutrition education and can give solid general advice on proper eating before and after a workout to get the most out of it.
So, with these things in mind, using a personal trainer to assist you with your exercise program will get you the results you want in a much more efficient manner.
